Gold Coast, Byron Bay and Coffs Harbour

Byron Bay was a very short 90km drive from the Gold Coast, it's great not having to spend the whole day driving.

We are now back in NSW.

We stayed at Clarkes Beach Caravan Park, a little pricey at $40 a night, but it was a great location.

We spent the day in town and also relaxed at the beach for a few hours, it was a very busy place!

Brenton even got up and had a dip first thing.

We only stayed in Byron for one night then it was off to Coffs Harbour (189kms), the road out of Byron was pretty bad for towing a caravan, but we made it out in one piece.

On the road again.

We couldn't stop at Coffs Harbour and not see the BIG Banana, so we parked our van, grabbed the camera and here we are:

You cant go to the big Banana and not have a banana, so a frozen chocolate with sprinkles for us! It was very refreshing.

We then went down and had a walk by the water.

The caravan park was great, Park Beach and only $31 per night.

We knew the good weather would not last too much longer especially now we driving further south, the rain started just as we were packing up to head to Port Macquarie.
