Port Macquarie to Newcastle

Another short day driving wise (164kms).

Dreary old day.
In Port Macquarie we pulled into the Sundowner Breakwater tourist park, $36 per night, right across from the water and a shirt walk into town.

We decided to head out and do some fishing before the rain started again.

Brenton getting ready to catch something big??

We were lucky enough to see a pod of Dolphins when we were fishing they hung around for ages and played.

We knew we were only staying a night so we got a drive through site.
The next day we did a few more kms to get to Newcastle (246kms), this was another 1 nighter for us, we stayed at the Stockton beach C.P $29 per night, very friendly owners, once again we thought we would try our luck at fishing.

Once again we had no luck, but it was a lovely walk, although a chilly night.

Newcastle.

Feral cats hiding in the rocks, maybe they are catching our fish!

There are a few old ship wrecks out here, one that you can still see.

Heading out of town the next day we hit 200,000 not that we have done that many Kms all together but still an exciting moment for us!
