Perth

After a 400 km drive ,we were so excited to get into Perth, the first big city in a long time!

I was also very excited to catch up with my family from the west.

We spent the first week in a caravan park in Kingsley and then stayed with my Auntie Betty and Uncle Paul for the last week, and we got very spoilt!
We were even lucky enough to have our caravan stored at my cousins, saving us a bit of coin.

Chilling out at my Auntie & Uncle's house.

My Uncle's famous shed.
My family had a BBQ for us when we arrived it was so nice to catch up with everyone!

Me & Norri enjoying a few champas!

My little cousin Billy brushing my Uncles beard!

My amazing Auntie Betty who spoilt us rotten!

Apart from spending time with the family we also went into the city, the place below is London court, an arcade in the centre of town built in 1937, you almost feel like you are wandering the streets of a different country here, for a whole 2 minutes!

After we spent the morning wandering around the city we decided to head to Kings Park, it was a good little walk up a very steep hill!

One of the huge trees at Kings Park.
The views from up here were amazing!

Another sunny day!

My Uncle Peter was also visiting from Melbourne and he met us at Kings park.

Brent and Uncle Pete.

The old swan brewery.

Auntie Betty and my little cousin Charlie.

More cousins! Little Billy being shy and Tom.
Another day trip was to Fremantle:

We had a bite to eat and a few drinks at the Little Creatures Brewery:

Taste testing!

Good.

Very good.
We were so lucky to still have amazing weather and spent a lot of time at Perth's famous beaches.

Scarborough.

Beach babe Brent

We swam mainly at Scarborough but also spent time at Cottesloe, Mandurah, Rockingham and Hilary's, we took in a footy game as well - Collingwood Vs West Coast, and Collingwood had a win.

We loved Perth, there is so much to see and do here and the weather was perfect the whole time, so relaxing!

We even took a trip to Bali (next blog).

Saying good-bye to Auntie Betty & Uncle Paul
Saying good-bye to the family was a bit sad they did so much for us, but we were looking forward to Margaret River and beyond!

On the road again, a quick stop-over in Busselton before getting to Margaret River.

Such a nice drive!
